Clover

Red clover contains many different minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and vitamins (e.g. C and E). Furthermore it is one of the richest natural sources of phytoestrogens (isoflavonoids). The plant hormones biochanin A, daidzein, formononetin and genistein found in red clover are very similar to the female estrogens. Red clover is also very rich in protein. 
 
Positive properties: Relieves menopausal symptoms, inhibits the growth of various cancers, promotes general well-being, prevents osteoporosis and lowers cholesterol level.
